OPEN: The Government wants their share of airline fees, Tour default in Britain, Full Body Scanners get a critical scan and Boeing says the future of airplane sales looks good except for Regional Jets.
1. The Feds have a 7.5% tax on air fares but the new airline fees for baggage, overweight bags, select seat assignments, ticket changes and ever thing else they have dreamed up amounting to $ 7.8 Billion last year are not taxed at all. The Feds will not let any major revenue stream go untapped for long so we will probably see fees increase after the tax is applied to this estimated $ 9.0 Billion Dollar total this year sometime.
2. In Britain last week one of their largest tour operators closed and went into Administration! Their version of Bankruptcy. Approximately 16,000 travelers were stranded in Greece and Turkey the primary destinations of Goldtrail. There are thousands more families in the U. K. that
are disappointed because school has just let out for the summer and they were ready to depart on trips that have now VANISHED!
3. The Full Body Scanner now being placed into operation at many U.S. airports have received new
criticism from consumer groups that say the radiation exposure from these machines may be much higher that previously claimed by the TSA. Also the Israeli security bureau more or less the Final Authority on security procedures says the devices are not effective and not worth the millions the U. S. will spend to install them.
4. Boeings annual summary of the future need for new aircraft around the world says that the market looks good for increased sales during the next ten years for all categories except Regional Jets. A major question is the demand for Super Jumbo jets such as the Airbus A380 which may not ever claim enough orders to justify its development cost and to ever break even on sales.
First Guest: To any golfer with a sense of history the Holy Grail of the game is the chance to play the "Old Course" at St. Andrews in Scotland. OPEN: The airlines are heeding the Tarmac Delay rule, Big Mo becomes a permanent part of The Pearl Harbor Experience and The Italian Autostrada pays off in Euro Coins.
1. In May there were only 5 recorded flight delays that exceeded the three hour rule which can trigger fines up to $27,500 per passenger. Four of the five were United Airlines planes diverted to Colorado Springs where they had insufficient staff to deplane them. The decision to levy fines is discretionary with the FAA and none have been issued yet. In the same month of 2009 there were 25 incidents and the big test will be June which had more than 200 last year.
2. In Hawaii The Pearl Harbor Experience now includes the last of America’s Great Battle Ships – The U.S.S. Missouri. Previously in mothballs in Seattle this famous ship is historic not just for being the last of a series but the plaque on the main deck marks the spot where the Final Surrender of Japan in WWII was signed on-board in Tokyo Bay in 1945. After an $18 million dollar refurbishment “Big MO” is ready for your visit. More information at: http://pacifichistoricparks.org/phh.php
3. Last week on the Italian Autostrada a security company Tractor Trailer overturned and spilled two million Euro coins on the roadway. The one and two Euro new coins were spread all over the place and the drivers who quickly stopped to help the injured driver also stuffed 50,000 coins in their pockets. With the unsavory reputation of many of the local citizens of southern Italy the authorities near Bari were probably lucky to even recover the truck.
First Guest: Napa Valley is now world famous in the world of wine, but the valley and the region of Northern California know as “Wine Country” is also a spectacular vacation and tourism experience. Third Guest: The Oil Spill in the Gulf is a tragedy of incredible scope and Tourism in the region is being devastated during one of its most important annual seasons. Everyone knows New Orleans is the most important city on the Gulf Coast and we see almost nightly broadcasts from the docks interviewing authorities on the day’s developments. What some people might not realize is that the city is almost 100 miles from the Gulf Waters. There is NO EFFECT from tar balls, oil streaks or fumes in the New Orleans Metro area. Unfortunately tourism is down but there is no reason to stay away. In fact the city is booming with new experiences for visitors and is in better shape due to refurbishments related to Katrina Storm damage. The music is there, the food is fantastic and “The Big Easy” is looking for you. Ms. Jennifer Day Director of Public Relations for New Orleans Tourism joins us to tell the REAL story of New Orleans today. The website is: http://www.neworleanscvb.com/
The Louie List: Our Laptops and Notebooks are part of Vacation and business travel now. Some tips to survival on the go.
1. The major airlines that are now offering on-board wi-fi access for a fee are surprised at the LOW percentage of travelers subscribing to the service. At an average of $10 per flight the cost does not seem to be the factor! What several commentators are pointing out is that TWO major issues are crowding (Literaly) the success of this service. Any laptop screen opens and must tilt away from the user to be visible. This angle is in direct conflict with the seat-back of the passenger in front of you. Also there is NO privacy due to the passengers next to you or behind you and walking down the aisle. 40% of users cite the open view of their screen as a BIG drawback to use on-board. If you do need privacy there is a viewing filter offered by 3M for about $40 that restrict the screen view to just the operator. More information at: http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/SDP/Privacy_Filters/
2. When taking your laptop on the road be sure to have a GOOD PADDED case. Accidents happen in crowds so wrap the machine in a secure case. Tape a business card to the bottom in case the laptop is ever seperated from you. Put the laptop on the X-Ray belt last just as you walk through, that way it is never far from you to give thieves an opportunity.
3. Get a free e-mail account like Web2Mail.com or hotmail so you can accesss your e-mail from anywhere. (Remember your Service Password), take a small Cat5 cable with you in case wi-fi is not available you can probable find somewhere to plug in.
4. If you plan to watch movies or use your computer for long periods buy a second battery. Batteries wear out usually with-in two years and recharging them is part of that wear! With a second battery you spread the wear and have a spare power source in case you really need more time on screen. Rotate the batterires and they may last until you are ready to get a new computer anyway!

KMOX June 27th. 2010
OPEN: Harry Potters Wizarding World is open, airlines have thought up a new fee so reach for your wallet and many more flight cancellations are coming our way due to the new THREE HOUR RULE.
1. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has opened to RAVE reviews at Universal Studios Orlando. All of the movie cast was on hand to launch the village complex and the group of special rides and Roller-Coasters that have Harry's Wizard theme behind them. If you are going to Florida this summer don't miss this attraction that was more than three years in the building. More information at: http://www.universalorlando.com/harrypotter/
2. American Airlines has announced a new fee called Early boarding and Flexibility which allows you to board right after their Frequent Flier group. It also cuts the standby or flight change fee in half to $75 instead of $150. Now just to HIGHLIGHT the sureal quality of this charge you are paying a fee in case you want a discount on another fee!!! Southwest and United also have early boarding charge opportunities in case you can't wait 30 to 40 seconds to board with the other commoners.
3. At a recent media day Mr. Doug Parker CEO of U. S. Air said that although the airlines caused the new three hour rule and fines to be created by congress the airlines are going to react by canceling flights when they get close to the time/fine barrier. The fines can be $27,500 per passenger and no carrier is going to risk that financial threat when they can just call the whole thing off by cancelling. Unfortunately when your flight is cancelled your reservation is gone and you are now at the mercy of "Standby" or rebooking at the airlines convenience. This first Summer Thunder-Storm Season willl be an interesting test of this new rule and how many passengers it will strand.
First Guest: Four of every seven Americans begin their trips to Europe with a visit to London and there is only one site that is FIRST on the "Must See List" that is The Tower of London. This palace, fortress, mint, museum and prison was one of Englands first royal residences and it's place in history, literature and politics is woven into the fabric of Western civilization. Sergeant Yeoman Warder Mr. Chris Martin joins us to talk about this huge complex which includes the treasury vault for The Royal Crown Jewels. Plan at least a day to see this palace and maybe Mr. Martin will be The Buffeter (Beefeater) leading your group on the tour around the grounds. Details at www.HRP.Org.UK

Third Guest: Pidgeon Forge Tennessee may not be a place you are familiar with but maybe you should be. As the home of DollyWood this has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in the South. Ms. Ashley Adams Public Relations Representative gives us an overview of what Dolly Parton has created to entertain folks of all ages and to showoff her part of her neighborhood Holler! Their web site is www.DollyWood.com
The LOUIE LIST: Cruise Line Air packages and other on-board add-on charges and "Sales".
1. If a cruise is in your vacation plans you will be offered an Air-Add on Package which will also include transfers to and from the ship. If you are not happy with the schedule you are assigned you can pay an "Air Deviation Fee" to get better flights or you can schedule your own air reservations and payments. This means YOU must arrange transfers which means that if your flight is delayed and you miss the ship sailing you are FULLY RESPONSIBLE.
2. If your sailing is from a U. S. port and you miss the boat be aware that something called the Jones Act may restrict your options in joining the cruise.
3. On-board upgrade options continue to increase with most cruise lines including the addition of Special or alternative dining venues. This seems to suggest that the meals in the main dining room may be sub-standard. The fact is it is all about adding revenue while seeming to add an exciting experience. Another revenue stream that is getting more and more scrutiny is the "Art Auctions" that give the passengers a chance to bid on and take home FINE art at auction prices. Unfortunately there are more and more reports of fraud and abuse such as a client that paid $20,000 for a painting which later apraised for only $700. As always Buyer Beware is the rule and NEVER associate the term INVESTMENT with this art business.
KMOX June 20th. 2010
OPEN: Switzerland is famous for the Alps skiing but they are spectacular in the Summer also. Hershey is the name of a place as well as a chocolate bar but there are other reasons to go there.
1. Disney has opened a new water show in the lagoon of The California Experience at the Disneyland Complex in Souther California. This part of the park has never reached its expected attendance so the introduction of this new "World of Color" show five years in the making will hopefully convince more customers to visit both parts of the park. Showing twice nightly the massive spray screen gives 30 projectors a 19,000 Sq. Ft. backdrop to spread the Disney story across the venue for 25 min. Multiple dining experiences are available including a picnic experience.
2. The Senate just passed new Cruise Line security regulations aimed at standardizing crime scene procedures and reporting requirements involving incidents where U. S. passengers are involved. There are new requirements for railing heights and security peepholes in all cabin doors. The Cruise Lines International Association the industry lobby group says the new rules will be another asset to passenger safety.
First Guest: Anyone’s first visit to Switzerland is always a pleasant surprise. It is not only the most beautiful mountain scenery in the world but the SUPER efficiency of the Swiss Railways, clean and friendly hotels plus beautiful watches and scrumptious cheese make the country a unique experience’s. Michelle Krantz of The Swiss National Tourist Board joins us to talk about her beautiful land and particularly Summers there. Their web site is www.MySwitzerland.com

Third Guest: The aroma of chocolate in the air is the BIG clue that you are in Hershey, Pa. home of The Hershey Bar and one of Mid-America's great family fun experiences. The factory tour of The World of Chocolate is free but the rides and shows of Hershey Park require a fee. There is something for everyone regardless of age and enough chocolate for everyone. Ms. Kathleen Burrows Director of Public Relations joins us to give a tour of her special town and park. The web site is www.HersheyPark.com
The Louie List: Summer crowding on reduced schedules make the probability of getting bumped from your airline seat higher than last year. Know your rights and next move!KMOX June 13th. 2010
1. If a flight you are booked on is oversold and all of the passengers show up at the gate the airline is required to ask for volunteers to give up their seat in return for a travel voucher or other compensation. If you have the time and can give up your reserved seat be sure to get a CONFIRMED seat on the next flight to your destination otherwise you could be on standby for a very long time.
2. There are specific rules that airlines must folllow in Denied Boarding situations. Check out how they apply to you at this government site: http://airconsumer.dot.gov/publications/flyrights.htm

OPEN: New violence threatens Mexico Tourism and the TSA remains "Fickel" in its procedures!
1. Week after week new stories of violence, shootings and discovery of bodies on both sides of the Mexico-U. S. Border escalate the apprehension of tourists considering vacations in our neighboring country to the south. A new report of six bodies (Several Mutilated) discovered near Cancun caused fears to rise that Mexico's number one destination is now threatened with this plague from the drug cartels. Since Cancun and the Yucatan Peninsula in general is one of the most heavily guarded areas of the country, travel there is currently safe as usual. The Mexican Government is painfully aware that their investment and that of the major players in the Resort and Hotel industry is too important to take any chances with this major piece of their domestic economy. Army and police check-points on the nearby roads control access to the Cancun resorts and those of The Riveria Maya along the Gulf coast.
2. We have all come to expect the standard "Hassels" of airport security. One of the most difficult to enforce and comply with has been the 3-1-1 rule involving carry-on liquids. If you look in the trash receptacles next to the X-ray lines you will see piles of large shampoo, cleanser and other cosmetic bottles that were tossed because travelers were not in compliance. Interestingly there have been many reports lately that TSA Inspectors have looked the other way and let larger containers over three oz. limit go through. New detection devices are coming on-line and the liquid restrictions are set to expire in time. The lack of standard application of rules has brought The TSA heavy criticism but look at it from the view of a budding terrorist, they never know what to expect and THAT IS A GOOD THING!
First Guest: Paris is a must see destination in europe but these days you don't have to settle for the standard climb-on, climb-off coach tour of the great sights of the "City of Light". Touring by Segway either by day or night is now readily available. Mr. Jack Lewis Regional Manager of City Segway Tours joins us to talk about this adventure and the Bicycle and walking tours they offer. Their web site is www.CitySegwayTours.com
Second Guest: Tom Parsons of Best Fares .com comes on to give us the deals this week for travel from Phoenix. To see all Tom has to talk about go to www.BestFares.com and enter KMOX in the search box at the top.
Third Guest: Hawaii is a favorite destination for many travelers but the downturn in the economy and airline troubles in general have reduced the opportunity to get there. Recent additions to the air lift capacity along with pricing deals to spur interest have put a Hawaii Vacation back on many lists. One of the great tour companies serving Hawaii and many other Pacific destinations is Pleasant Holidays. Mr. Jack Richards - President joins us to talk about what's new in the islands and what they can offer to give you REAL value on your vacation. See their vacation possibilities at www.PleasantHolidays.com
The Louie List: Summer travel brings many exposures to common and uncommon dangers.
1. Auto travel expands significantly during summer so Seat-Belts and child car seats are more important than ever. Driving in unfamiliar cities or with long hours behind the wheel raise the odds of unexpected accidents. Laws of states differ so be aware you may get a fine for lack of compliance that you might avoid at home.
2. Playing in the sand at the beach is a favorite with all ages. Everyone needs to realize the dangers of cave-ins with holes dug in the sand and how quickly this problem can develop. The National Lifeguard Assn. recommends that no holes be dug that are deeper that "The knees of the shortest member of your party", so if you are with a three year old dig no deeper than a foot! These holes are particularly dangerous at night, so carry a flashlight if you are on a strange stretch of sand.
3. Warm weather brings out the boats so please adhere to the Coast Guard rules on life-jackets especially for kids. Drunk driving in a boat is just as fatal as in car and the penalties and fines are the same on the water as in your vehicle, in most states. So save your life and that of the others on the water as well as your money by having a designated boat captain.
4. And last may seem strange but Don't Become a Statistic! Even a strange one. During summer in high snowfall mountain areas, avalanches are very common as the snow melts. Just last week four hikers were hit by an avalanche, three were saved but not the fourth, so if you are in a high snow fall area get and wear an Avalanche Beacon. They are about $100 but if you are ten feet under the snow in a hole it is the only way the rescuers may find you.
KMOX June 6th. 2010
OPEN: Europe may not recognize your Credit Cards now, U. S. Air adds Real Internet access to many flights and The TSA has another list you want to avoid.
1. America travelers to Europe are reporting more frequent problems when trying to use their magnetic strip credit and debit cards for retail or transportation transactions. The European card industry is switching to Chip & Pin cards which do not use a strip reader. This new type of card is less prone to damage and the pin requirement cuts down fraud. Many stores are keeping a strip reader available for the convenience of Americans but unmanned kiosks at subway or train stations are a BIG PROBLEM. You may want to transfer some funds to a temporary Pre-Loaded card while traveling, just to keep your options open. The U. S. card issuers don't plan on changing soon because it would cost more than 8$ Billion to convert.
2. U. S. Air is currently converting more than 50 of their Airbus jets to offer W-Fi internet when the planes are over ten thousand feet. The access fees vary from $4.95 to $12.95 based on flight length.
3. It has been revealed that the TSA has ANOTHER List other than the Do-Not-Fly data-base. If you are abusive, aggressive or just plain disruptive and obnoxious in the Security Lanes and X-Ray area you may have a chance to speak to a TSA officer. It has not been revealed what TSA does with this list, but it is probably not for Christmas Cards!!!
First Guest: Airplanes are the backbone of world tourism to almost any destination, but there is a tourism opportunity focused specifically on the airplane! The Wright Brothers National Memorial on the sands of Kitty Hawk at Kill Devil Hills North Carolina is the birth place of powered flight. This memorial and the museum site are operated by The National Park Service. We are honored to have Mr. Darrel Collins - Historian for the Park Site join us to talk about these two brothers and the historic accomplishment on this beach in December of 1903. This is a holy place for pilots and a great experience for families including a Junior Ranger program. The web site is www.NPS.Gov/WRBR

Third Guest: Summer in Canada attracts people for many reasons since the chill of Winter has passed. One of the huge annual events is The Calgary Stampede. This is one of the largest celebrations of Rodeo skills and everything western in North America. One of the unique contests of The Stampede is The Chuck Wagon races which have no equal anywhere else. Mr. Doug Fraiser Stampede Spokesperson joins us to talk about his city, his rodeo and the friendliness of Canada. The web site is: http://cs.calgarystampede.com/
The Louie List: Las Vegas is on its way back and there is even a tribute to The King! Of Rock and Roll that is!
1. Las Vegas has taken a double hit from the recession. The housing bubble there was bigger and splattered more than almost any other U. S. City. The foreclosure rate is daunting and the construction industry mostly left town. This local economic devastation has been accented by the loss of gaming and tourism visitors plus a White House urging conventions to avoid wasting money on expensive sales conventions in Sin City.
2. Vegas seems to have passed the low point and some of the best evidence of this is the activity at "City Center" the Eight Billion Plus Dollar development in the heart of the Vegas Strip. The lead resort The Aria Hotel and Casino was sold-out over Memorial Day weekend and The new Cirque Du Soleil show in the theatre there is the greatest Elvis Tribute ever presented. The Hotel site is: http://www.arialasvegas.com/ and The Viva Elvis show is: http://arialasvegas.com/viva-elvis/
3. The Viva Elvis show is Cirque Du Soleil's sixth offering in Las Vegas and they have become the dominate and driving force in Las Vegas entertainment. If you are an Elvis fan or want to show someone younger why he was "the King of Rock and Roll" this is the show. The theatre gift shop is the most complete collection of Elvis Memorbilia outside of Graceland. If you haven't been to Vegas lately the slots are hot, the resort pools and nightclubs are world class and the King is "IN" the building at Aria.

OPEN: Violence in Jamaica is NOT ON YOUR Itinerary.
1. The violence in Jamaica being shown on TV may give many great concern if they have a vacation or cruise planned with Jamaica on the itinerary. The street fighting which has claimed dozens is all contained in a section of Kingston which is over the mountains on the south coast of Jamaica. This is many miles from the tourist areas of the North Coast between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios. Cruise passengers and resort guests have nothing to fear from the conflict. Kingston is not a tourist destination and the government does not encourage visitors there because it is not an attractive place. So go to Jamaica and help support their tourist economy, you will be safe and they need your support.
First Guest: Many listeners will be taking an Alaska Cruise this summer and one of the most popular ports of call is Skagway. The town itself is mostly a National Historic site with several buildings operated by the Park Service to tell the story of the town prominent place in ‘Gold Rush History”. The number one shore excursion is The White Pass and Yukon Railroad. This winding mountain side train takes passengers on a half-day trek to the summit where they can look back on the inlet where the ships dock at the Skagway pier. This Little Railroad That Could has its history blended with the epic tale of Alaskan development and the conflict of WWII. Our guest is Deane Motis who has recently completed a beautiful photographic history book about the White Pass and Yukon Line. You can learn more about the railroad and purchase the book on the web site at: www.WPYR.com

Mr. Dennis Pinto – Director of Operations joins us to talk about Africa and the tours his company offers. Their web site is www.Micato.com
The Louie List: Travel Insurance, A necessity or more Fluff to take your money?
1. Probably one of the most confusing products in the Vacation Industry is Travel Insurance. With multiple vendors, including the cruise lines themselves and wide ranging coverage options the decision process should be guided by your professional travel agent. To get you the coverage you need for peace of mind at a value price will take research and interpretation few consumers can manage on their own.
2. As with all insurance you should only buy coverage for that which you can’t afford to lose! If you are going on a Vegas vacation where you have a few hundred dollars invested in air tickets and may be responsible for one nights room and tax if you have to cancel then trip insurance is probably superfluous. An eight thousand dollar cruise is another matter. If you break your leg tripping on the way to the taxi and you No-Show at the pier, the cruise line will not refund a dime! You would be out eight grand, be in a cast and your cabin-mate will probably be very disappointed if not mad as hell! This is when travel insurance is Very Important.
3. The cost for covering such a cruise or a long land tour is usually around $4.00 per hundred dollars of cost, so $8,000 of coverage would be around $320 per passenger. There is an administrative portion so a figure of $350 would be close for the actual premium. For this you will be covered for Trip Delay, Baggage Loss, Legal assistance, trip cancellation and Most Importantly Medical coverage and evacuation if necessary.
4. Medical assistance and Evacuation are the areas of most claims and GREATEST exposure if you have no insurance or poor overage. You should make sure this part of the services are provided by a reputable firm and that None of the backing for your insurance product is dependent on the financial capability of the cruise or tour operator. Obviously if the cruise line or tour co. goes under your cancellation coverage and anything else goes down with them. Get a full explanation of “Pre-Existing Condition Rules” before you finalize any booking. A seven day time line is usually involved which could be CRITICAL to your coverage.
5. If this is all clear to you, go to www.InsureMyTrip.com to see what your coverage may cost. If you HAVE ANY QUESTIONS! Ask you travel agent. It could be an expensive and frustrating trip otherwise

1. The Flight Attendants union for BA has announced a strike plan in four parts each lasting five days. The first stoppage will begin May 18 and will be on again, off again into June. Virgin Airlines and other trans-Atlantic carriers are tightening their ticketing and reconfirmation procedures to keep the most seats possible available for stranded BA passengers.
2. Hertz is acquiring the Dollar- Thrifty car rental group. This will consolidate The Leadership position of Hertz in this industry. What effect this consolidation will have on consumer rates is yet to be seen but any drop in competition is usually not helpful in price reduction.

The Louie List: Bad economic times can bring out the WORST in people and Travel Scams are no exception:
1. A few dollars or hours spent on a web site can put un-scrupulous thieves in the middle of the travel industry. Phony Airline Tickets offered at VERY Low prices are one of the latest ways to separate victims from their money. If you THINK you are getting a SUPER deal on a flight from a company you don't know be sure to check with the BBB in the city they are based in. If their offices are hard to track down before you buy, think how hard it will be once they have your money.
2. If your tour or other travel purchase comes with really cheap Travel Insurance be sure to find out WHAT insurance company is backing up the plan in case of Financial Default by your tour operator. The scam comes in when you find out the Tour Operator also owns the insurance co. which means YOU REALLY DON'T HAVE COVERAGE!!!
3. Travel Clubs that ask you to buy a MEMBERSHIP to get great prices and special deals are worthless! With the deals available everyday on the web WHY TIE UP your money and commit your vacation to the rules of someone that may not have what you really want. This same situation applies to TIME SHARES. The average period of ownership of time shares is less than five years. So why get yourself and your vacation money involved in a property that is NOT AN INVESTMENT and is heaped with rules. OPEN: The long awaited "Passengers Rights Rule goes into effect in May, limiting Tarmac holding onboard to three hours and a fraudulent IRS imposter stays in a hotel free for two years!
1. Effective this month the Onboard Delay Rule is in effect for all airlines operating in the U. S. Any flight holding passengers in the cabin on the ground without allowing them to de-plane will be subject to a fine of up to $27,500 per passenger. This serious penalty has caused several airlines to instruct their pilots that they MUST get to the gate even if it means cancelling the flight. With the summer thunderstorm season coming shortly to the North-East this delay rule will probably cause many cancellations in New York, Boston and Philadelphia. Passengers must realize that if this causes their flight to be cancelled they have lost all reservations rights and become "Standby Passengers" as far as up-coming departures to their destination.
2. A Novato, Calif. hotel recently called the IRS to find out if a lady that had been staying in a room there for almost two years without paying was a Federal employee as she claimed. SHE WAS not an IRS employee and she was ordered by the court to repay the hotel $55,000 in restitution. Those words" I'm from the IRS and I'm here to stay" now take on new meaning!!!

The Louie List: If a "Road Trip" is in your Summer plans be aware of these costs and possible savings.
1. The Energy Information Administration says that the average price per gallon this Summer will be about $ 2.96, with prices up to $3.50 per Gallon in Alaska and Hawaii.
2. A very costly issue on a Road Trip can be Traffic Tickets in a strange city or state. There are frequent reports that the old "TEN MILES AN HOUR OVER" cushion is disappearing in many places. The RADAR guns are now more accurate so the authorities feel that they are missing significant ticket revenue with the GRACE period. Also be aware of sudden speed limit changes on highways going through congested or municipal zones.
3. Keeping your tires properly inflated and engine tuned will help with your fuel economy but one of the best ways to save may be to rent a new car for the week. The Hertz AAA Member rates are incredibly low and you get a high fuel economy car with NO REPAIR costs to worry about. If your car is a lease vehicle be sure to calculate your lease mile costs because a Rental could be a big bargain for you.

OPEN: New violence threatens Mexico Tourism and The TSA remains "Fickle" in its procedures!
Drunk driving in a boat is just as fatal as in a car and the penalties and fines are the same on the water as in your vehicle, in most states.

The lead resort The Aria Hotel and Casino was sold-out over Memorial Day weekend and The new Cirque Du Soleil show in the theatre there is the greatest Elvis Trubute ever presented.

Third Guest: If an African Safari is one of your dream vacations the company you want to dream about touring The Serengeti or the Great Oronoco Crater with is Micato Safaris. With decades of experience and founders that live in Kenya this firm has a reputation for excellence deserved only by the best.

OPEN: British Airways Summer strike woes may be just beginning and Hertz announces the acquisition of a major competitor group.
1. The Flight Attendants union for BA has announced a strike plan in four parts each lasting five days. The first stoppage will begin May 18 and will be on again, off again into June. Virgin Airlines and other trans-Atlantic carriers are tightening their ticketing and reconfirmation proceedures to keep the most seats possible available for stranded BA passengers.
